What is I.C.S.E ?

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education is an examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). It was set up in 1956.

It is a private non-governmental board of school education in India. The Board conducts an examination towards the end of Grade 10 and an Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations towards the end of Grade 12.

Why ICSE as curriculum?

The syllabus followed by the board is more comprehensive and complete, encompassing all fields with equal importance like – Science, Mathematics, Languages, Arts, Home Science etc.

It focuses on the overall development of the children they get practical knowledge of the subjects they learn.

Beneficial for students who wish to go abroad for higher studies as it is recognized by many Universities and countries across the world.

Due to the emphasis laid on English in Students from this Board may hold a slight edge over other students in exams like TOEFL.

Which text books will be prescribed ?

Textbooks are prescibed by the Council only for the study of literature in English and other Indian languages.

The Council does not prescribe or recommend any text books therefore the school has thoughtfully designed the syllabus suitable for the purpose of competent teaching and efficient learning.
