Pre-Primary
The pre-primary curriculum of ICSE focuses on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children’s holistic development. As a first step in this direction, we prepare students with a solid foundation in Verbal and Numerical skills. We accentuate on communicating effectively through active exercises in reading, writing, speaking and listening. There is emphasis on learning through play, exploration, and hands-on activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. We have devised a system of self-development and grooming through a list of fundamental principles. For example, listening when others speak, speaking in our indoor voice, giving each other space etc. We ensure stimulating the senses through activities that enhance perception, sensory discrimination, and motor skills development. We encourage our students to work collaboratively in a group environment to achieve the set goals.
Primary
Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Grade 1 to 5)
The curriculum for primary section is based on the ICSE guidelines, which allows enough room to address individual needs and to create a learner-centered classroom while introducing skills, concepts and information which will lay a strong foundation for the secondary level. We create an environment where students are motivated to ask questions, analyze and be creative. Our primary curriculum aims to provide a solid foundation in language, mathematics, science, social sciences, and the arts, while also encouraging physical and creative development. Schools have flexibility in selecting specific textbooks and teaching methods within the framework of the ICSE curriculum.
Secondary Curriculum
Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Grade 6 to 10)
The Secondary curriculum of ICSE builds upon the foundation laid in primary education and provides a comprehensive education to students.
Our secondary curriculum aims to provide a well-rounded education to students. It aims to develop their cognitive abilities, critical thinking skills, and subject knowledge. The curriculum promotes practical application of knowledge, fosters analytical reasoning, and encourages problem-solving abilities. It emphasizes holistic development, including physical fitness, creative expression, and social awareness. The curriculum covers the core subjects while also offering optional subjects based on the students’ interests and school offerings like foreign language French. Practical work, projects, and internal assessments are incorporated to assess students’ understanding and application of knowledge. Our curriculum goes beyond rote learning, encourages analytical thinking, and prepares students for higher education and the challenges of the modern world.
